For the duration of the Exploring Conscious Territories exhibitions in México, the cities Basel and Oaxaca were connected through soundportals. The soundscape of a place in the respective city center can be experienced in another town with another cultural background. In November 23, before the stream went live in December, the visitors in Basel could hear a sound montage of different scenes during Dio de los Muertos in Oaxaca.
