In the second exhibition space in France, another trio of cypresses looms over the wall, bridging two places across time and space. Is this a coincidence, or an unseen continuity revealing itself? Accompanying the video, a reading corner invites visitors to engage with the same books that shaped the artists inquiry into consciousness—questioning what, or who, should be considered sentient. Trees, stones, landscapes: what forms of intelligence do they hold, and how do we attune ourselves to them? The seat for reading extends the act of observation beyond the screen. It transforms the exhibition space into a site of reflection.
